Nestled in the sheltered seaside town of Ventnor, blessed with its own gentle microclimate, this wonderfully welcoming and peaceful retreat is perfect for relaxing, unwinding and soaking up the Isle of Wight's laid back coastal charm - there's even a hot tub tucked away at the top of the garden where you can enjoy glimpses of the sea!

Offering oodles of space both inside and out, Wickings is the kind of place where you can truly switch off, settle in and let holiday life unfold, and your four-legged friend can join you on the adventure too.

Step inside where calm and warm welcoming interiors are set to greet you. Light pours into the main living space, where long lazy mornings and cosy wood-burner evenings come as standard. Open the sliding doors to let the sea air and birdsong drift in, or wander through to the homely kitchen and cook up simple suppers to enjoy al fresco style at the end of a perfect day.

Families and groups will love the extra space downstairs, where a second sitting-room and direct garden access create a perfect little retreat for children after a day of island exploring (please note, the garden wraps around the property and is not enclosed). The ground floor bathroom is a welcome bonus too, especially for rinsing off sandy toes after a day at the beach.

On the first floor you will find three lovely, inviting double bedrooms, all designed with both your comfort and relaxation in mind ensuring you a peaceful night's sleep. Bedroom 1 is wonderfully spacious with large sliding doors leading out onto the balcony, the perfect spot to sit with a morning cuppa, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy glimpses of the sea through the trees - this bedroom also benefits from an en suite shower-room.

The second and third bedrooms are both modern, cosy and overlook the garden. You will also find a well-appointed family bathroom on this floor.

Outside the property boasts a charming, staggered garden, designed for relaxation and enjoyment. A lovely, sheltered patio area (accessed via the kitchen and dining-room) with comfortable seating and a raised pond with its gentle sound of flowing water is the perfect spot for al fresco dining or a quiet drink, while the pretty lawned area offers space to unwind and enjoy the island sunshine. Higher up you will find a raised patio with additional seating, a stunning hot tub and glimpses of the sea, an ideal place to relax under the stars following a day exploring the island. Please note the garden path is a little steep and uneven in places so please take care and make use of the handrail provided.
